The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis

Synopsis:

This is the third book in the Narnia Series by C.S. Lewis. It follows Shasta, a boy raised by a Calormene fisherman who discovers he is not his father’s real son. He meets Bree, a talking horse from Narnia that is being held captive by Calormen, and they escape together and go to Narnia in order to be free. They also meet Aravis, a Calormen noblewoman fleeing an arranged marriage and her talking horse, Hwin.

I enjoyed this book and found it to be very easy and light- hearted.
