The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz by L. Frank Baum

Synopsis:

This is about a Kansas farm girl named Dorothy Gale who ends up in the magical land of Oz after she and her dog, Toto, are swept away from their home by a tornado. While there, she meets the Scarecrow who wants a brain, the Tin man who wants a heart, and the Cowardly Lion who wants courage. Dorothy wants to get back home to her aunt and uncle so must travel to the Emerald City in order to get help from the powerful Wizard of Oz.

In order to find her way back home, she must defeat and kill the Wicked Witch of the West.

Review:

I have always been a huge fan of the movie the Wizard of Oz so loved the book and the character of Dorothy and the friendships she finds with the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion.
